Started an entire weekend of work with a bunch of international colleagues.
Reflections after the national election in DK; grateful for diversity!!!

Grateful for living in a country where this is possible.

Summer party and saying goodbye to kids and parents in my son's class today. 
Grateful for 7 years with these kids and parents. 

Half forgot - half couldn't find any gratitude yesterday. Not a really bad day, just not a really good one either, and I guess I was also kind of gratitude-lazy... Woke up and remembered that it had been forgotten, but wasn't able to reconstruct anything valid. So yesterday was my first day without gratitude this year. 

Can feel the temptation of letting it slip today as well. Just one day without focus, and it's so easy to let the new habit fade away. But I will not let that happen. I do realize the benefits, no doubt what so ever about them any longer, so there is only one way, and it's back on track. 

So today gratitude was deliberately found in the blue sky, after work in the forest walking the dog with my husband, and tonight when noticing these big white/pink flower buds against the clear blue sky. So close to burst. 

Did I ever mention how much I adore summer...!?

Picking light pink roses in my garden, and placing them in my grandmother's vase. 
She passed away three years ago, but I am still very much her grandchild - and summer just amplifies that feeling. 
Bare legs, bare shoulders and bare feet walking in the grass, sand, water or even streets as often and as much as possible. Feeling like a child, enjoying every second, and momentarily totally forget that I'm an adult - an ability she maintained till the end, age almost 101. 

On a summer day like today, I gratefully feel as if a part of her is still living inside of me.

Spontaneously enjoying time on my own on a magic Summer evening. 

Evening. Summer. Sunshine and the wildest choir of birds, while walking the dog. What's not to like!?!

Starting the day by texting with a wonderful friend. 
The one who last week send a bunch of flowers which almost looked like wild flowers from the roadside. 
Absolutely my favorites. And absolutely grateful for her!
