Picking light pink roses in my garden, and placing them in my grandmother's vase.
She passed away three years ago, but I am still very much her grandchild - and summer just amplifies that feeling.
Bare legs, bare shoulders and bare feet walking in the grass, sand, water or even streets as often and as much as possible. Feeling like a child, enjoying every second, and momentarily totally forget that I'm an adult - an ability she maintained till the end, age almost 101.
On a summer day like today, I gratefully feel as if a part of her is still living inside of me.

Thank you so much Angela! It's wonderful hearing from you :-) How do I subscribe to your blog? I found it, read it, and enjoyed it, but I couldn't find anywhere to subscribe.
