Spending the afternoon with my daughter!
 Having friends visiting in the vacation house with this beautiful guest annex kindly lend to us by other wonderful friends. Once again grateful for friendships!!!!  Spending 45 minutes focusing solely on unwiding a kite. And actually enjoying doing just that.
Taking a run with my husband and the dogs, getting a little lost and ending up with 7 instead of 5 kilometers. But actually not finding it that hard, when seduced by the smell of pine trees at every step of the way. Flying the unwinded, low quality commercial kite on the beach with the kids, in the rain. And actually not minding the rain at all, cause it's summer rain. That's what's Holidays is all about - for me.  A day close to perfect. Nothing big, but plenty of what's small but important.  Taking a break in the late evening sun with these couple of sisters. Grateful for being alive.  Not there yet. But the sun is shining, it's a decent temperature, sitting under the awning, working on something I enjoy really really much, while drinking another coffee and listening to the birds. Extremely grateful for my job, and the best clients I could wish for!  Woke up at 4 a.m. Didn't have to get up. No problem sleeping. Just able to lay there beneath the open window for a while. Listening to birds welcoming the dawn. Feeling thankful! |
