My grandmother whom I love dearly slowly lost her sight. She was almost 101 before she passed away, but she used to love reading, play games, seeing and spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She lost her sight because of glaucoma which runs in my family. I have started the annual checks a few years ago, and this awareness makes me awareness what a true gift sight is. Just watching these colors lifts my mood on a cloudy day!
