Just got of a 45 minutes phone call with my brother. It's his birthday today.
...yes, we fought when we were kids. We actually fought so much, that when going on road trip vacations back then, my parents always had to stack luggage between us on the back seat almost all the way to the roof so we had no chance of seeing or hitting each other.
... yes, there were years in my late teens and yearly twenties where I was not the best sister in the world. Not proud to say at all!
And yes living in two different parts of Denmark I see him way too seldom!
But that has never challenged the fact one bit that I love this guy to the moon and back - and NOT only when the moon is hanging "close by" over the roof of Helsingborg ;-)
Since 2001 I have recurring been aware that I am extremely lucky to have a brother. And of all the brothers in the world that could be mine, I was giving the no. 1 of them all.
That's something to be truly grateful for!
Ps. Unfortunately I had to cheat a little today. This picture is not taken today, since he is too far away. The picture is a couple of years old taken on a family vacation - no car - no fighting! :-)
