Closing my eyes, while feeling the warmth of the sun.
Hearing a blackbird singing.
Catching gratitude doesn't have to take more than a very few minutes.

I love the simplicity of your posts. I am the medical provider for Peace Corps Volunteers in Cameroon and have been "pushing" gratitude in the weekly newsletters that I send to the volunteers and staff. I'm not sure if it will have big effect but if it changes a few attitudes I'll be thrilled. It's sure making a change for me.

Dear Angela. Thank you so much for your wonderful comment. I am very glad that you like the simplicity of my posts, and that it has inspired you!! I have now read you blog http://www.sanitasjournal.com as well, and I am quite sure that you're already inspiring your readers as well. And as you mentioned; while trying to inspire others it does indeed change something for ourselves as well. Today is my 143. gratitude-day in this “blog-project” I’ve set up on my website, and it’s remarkable how much you can focus your attention and how much you attention defines your perception! It’s not that I did not feel grateful before, but it seems as if there is SO much more to feel grateful for this year - even though I know for a fact that had I not focused on gratitude each and every day this year, the first 4 month of 2015 would have felt very different indeed.
