January 1st was extremely lazy. Rain, couch, movies and... well have to admit it; not that healthy food. However eating ALL the leftover salads from the New Years Dinner, with toppings of fresh Blue Violets, brought the day before by one of my dearest friends, made me feel grateful for 1) having this intense craving for the good stuff that even the first of January gets by acceptable, and 2) having friends who are there - even when they are not.
