... the tough gets going. So that's what I did late in the afternoon today; walking - like each and every day for the last week. And every single day it has made a huge difference mentally. I appreciate deeply living close to the sea and the forest. The city is amazing, but at times of change nature does it for me.
Today I also appreciate greatly having seen an amazing sunrise, and it made me smile noticing that so many of my Facebook friends actually appreciated the same sunrise at the exact same time I did, as well as having the opportunity to wave to my really nice "almost-neighbor" passing by, while signaling to each other through the window: "Look at that sunrise. Thumbs up! :-D"
While walking in the forest this afternoon the sun set, and even though most of the day had been clouded the sun chose to pass the clouds and appear like the above photo just before being tucked in again by the cloudy sky. Shortly after everything turned dark in the woods, and I started to feel a bit insecure. But as soon as I had that feeling a group of 8-10 elderly power walking women approached me. They were all wearing lights, safety vests and hiking poles, smiling, laughing and talking comforting to each other. And when they walked away a woman my own age turned up with a dog just as vivid as mine. We walked back to the illuminated road together, sharing stories about our dogs and neighborhood. So today I was also grateful for meeting a lot of cool women at a very convenient time ;-)
And last but not least while walking back along the coastline the moon was rising BIG, red-orange and lazy from what seems to be the streets of Helsingborg. It was the most spectacular "moonrise", I remember to have ever seen. As if the sky had left only a very narrow opening in the black sky right above the roofs of Helsingborg just wide enough to allow the moon to be visible in it's full size for a very few minutes, before disappearing in something that looked like a thick belt of clouds.
